Marieke Coppens is an Amsterdam born and based visual artist.
She became a visual artist instead of a comedian due to a serious accident with a horse from which she had to revalidate for over a year.
Her work was shown in amongst others: FOAM, SCHUNCK, Museum Jan Cunen, Museum van Bommel van Dam.
Those white cubes are not (necessarily) Marieke Coppens' preferred contexts. She works preferably in the grayscale of the art world to be able to make the best fitting context for her work.
