My main artistic interests concern the aesthetics of power, violence and their interdependence.
I use the aesthetical angle to  show a close, preferable intimate, look on this. Constructing rituals help me to get a clear view on these topics.

I love to question truths and traditions of science, in doing so I like to get lost in the gradient of facts and fiction myself. It is my preferred conviction that works, subjects and stories find me, rather than the other way around.

Doing something I’ve never done before or pretending to do so is one of the few rules I’ve set for myself in producing art works.

Language and humor are two of my preferred materials. For ritual reasons works and venues are carefully matched, I rather call my works collaborations with the architecture than site specific. The outcome of my works is always a rite of passage mimicry.
